* Solution #1: The 50/50 PartyThis is an ideal way to raise between $300 and $1,000. Great for little leagues, PTA's, and school groups. EXAMPLE:. For each ticket you sell, your group keeps half of it ($7.50). If people who bought the ticket do not attend the bowling fundraiser, your group gets to keep 80% of the ticket price.
Group sells 100 tickets @ $15.00 each = $1,500 80 people come to the bowling fundraiser, group keeps $600 (80 x $7.50 ea.) 20
people do not come (20 x $15.00 = $300.00)
TOTAL RAISED FOR YOUR GROUP $600 + $240 = $840
Each member of the group will get people to sponsor him/her in the bowl-a-thon at a set amount of money for each pin knocked down. EXAMPLE: The bowler has five sponsors who will pay 5 cents for each pin knocked down in a three game series. (350 series x 5 cents = $17.50 per sponsor) ($17.50 x 5 sponsors = $87.50) Less $6.00 for the 3 games bowled (shoe rental included) = $81.50 for just one bowler $81.50 for just (1) bowler. 20 bowlers = $1,630 dollars

Does your business, organization (Chamber of Commerce, University, Orchestra, Community Arts Center, Political Party) need to raise money?
Simply sell a "lane" for a tax deductible contribution of $100.00, $250.00, $500.00, or $1,000.00 to another group who then sends six guests to a very special "party." Your group raises $4,800.00.
The party would include: 2 to 3 hours of bowling, shoes, public addresses, food, beverages and prizes. EXAMPLE: Your group sells all 30 lanes @ $200.00 each ($200 x 30 lanes) = $6,000.00 less bowling costs = $1,200 Total raised = $4,800 |
